The 2024 Xiangxi Prefecture Literary and Art Creation Competition was held at the Xiangxi Grand Theater on the evening of June 27. 25 programs were staged, presenting a heartshaking audio-visual feast. The selected excellent programs will participate in the 8th Hunan Art Festival.
The instrumental ensemble “Change” is based on the Chenhe high-pitched tune and integrated with cool rock music.
The music “Soil Digging Drum Song” integrates the Tujia folk cultural heritage passed down in Longshan County and other places with modern accompaniment and female voices, full of enthusiasm.
The group dance “Stepping on tea seed cakes” showcases vivid scenes of traditional workshops extracting oil, including frying seeds, grinding, fumigation, wrapping, filling, and squeezing.
